Bio
Negin Taabodi is a passionate Iranian piano pedagogue and composer based in Toronto. With a deep-rooted Middle Eastern heritage, she profoundly integrates Eastern musical traditions with Western classical techniques, enriching her performance crafts.
Negin’s musical journey includes earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and a Master’s degree in Composition. During her graduate studies, she had the privilege of training under esteemed pianist Professor Christina Petrowska Quilico, a recipient of the Order of Ontario.
Driven by a deep commitment to developing her pianistic voice, she studied classical piano performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Botticelli, a distinguished authority in historical keyboard practice.
As an advanced RCM-certified piano pedagogue and a member of ORMTA, Negin has successfully guided students through RCM examinations at all levels, fostering technical excellence, artistic expression, and a deep appreciation for piano literacy.
